Plinio Innocenzi

Full professor of Materials Science at the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of Sassari and director of the Laboratory of Materials Science and Nanotechnology (LMNT).

He has served as Science and Technology Councellor at the Embassy of Italy to the People Republic of China from 2010 to 2018.

He has published more than 250 scientific articles dedicated to nanoscience and nanochemistry with around 8000 citations and 49 H factor.

He has devoted great attention to science popularization publishing several books and organizing events and conferences for the general public. In 2018 has published The Innovators behind Leonardo (Springer) to illustrate the scientific and technological Renaissance and in 2019 the Secrets of Leonardo’s women (Hunan Publishing). He is collaborating as consultant for the realization of documentaries on Leonardo da Vinci.

北京外国语大学欧洲语言文化学院意大利语专业副教授，教授《意大利语综合训练》、《意大利社会概况》、《意大利文化简史》、《欧洲古典文化》、《欧洲中世纪和文艺复兴时期的文化》等课程。2007-2018年先后五次获得北京外国语大学基础阶段教学“陈梅洁奖”，2011年获得获北京市第七届青年教师基本功大赛北京市三等奖。2017年获得北京外国语大学意大利语言文学博士学位和意大利那不勒斯东方大学意大利研究博士学位。
